Important Update for Fairy Light Dice backers.

Hey all,
I appreciate your patience in this, but have some bad news. Once again the Fairy Light dice samples we made to test the chips worked great, but the delivered product to ship to backers has a very high defect rate. We are not willing to make yall wait longer even though we are only a month past our original estimated fulfillment date. That is not how we like to do business, and at this point we cannot guarantee a delivery since we just don't know what the issue is when we go to mass production.

With your preferred refund method (Example: original payment method, PayPal, ect..) and backer number. We apologize for the inconvenience, but realized it's been too long to just automatically issue refunds as cards may have expired, or been canceled since payment was taken.
We understand this is disappointing and that we have had your money for a long time, so we will also be offering 50% off codes to our website to Fairy Light dice backers when they reach out for refunds, hopefully that way we can still turn this into an experience where backers walk away with some cool dice for the trouble. We can also give you a 25% bonus to your refund if you would like to take it in store credit.

Bad news/update on Fairy Light dice

Unfortunately we received word from our Chinese partners yesterday that the Fairy Light dice delivered to be shipped for the Kickstarter are having a crazy high defect rate. We have already sourced new chips (ones we had already tested in the sample process and are confident in) and are having them remade ASAP, If we experience any issues with this next round we will issue full refunds so our backers do not need to wait any longer and hopefully we will release the finished product on our own time, when we can be 100% confident.
In the interest of openness and to give our valued backers as much of an explanation as we can for this failure here is what we know:
We developed this product with a partner resin factory, since we only produce metals in house. We had working samples when we went to Kickstarter. Either those samples where heavily cherry picked when brought to us, or something happened in mass production that caused a high failure rate. During production and sample making we tried multiple light chips for different reasons and so we had another one in mind and a way to source it ASAP or we would not make yall wait any longer on us.
We are very sorry for this unpleasant update but refuse to deliver product not up to our standards

sorry for the radio silence, between Chinese covid outbreaks and the Chinese New Year there was not much movement on the project. As of now everything is good and we hope to fulfil on time in May!

Ok yall,
Our skeleton crew in China managed to get the rest of the resin Trees shipped yesterday! Now we are focusing on the Fairy Light up dice, but with Chinese New years coming up there will be a small break in progress with little to update for a while..

Delay due to covid lock downs and issue with resin trees.

Hey all,
I am incredibly sorry for the late update. I was hoping for better news but unfortunately It turns out there was an issue with the resin trees mold that I was not fully aware of that required extra cnc on every piece to fit the spinning mechanics. This is very labor intensive and was delaying fulfillment on those, but our China team was still hoping to get them out before Christmas (even if they would not arrive to some backers by Christmas as was warned may happen in the original Kickstarter). Unfortunately due to Chinas new Covid policies they are seeing a large spike in cases and the majority of the fulfillment and factory production team are currently infected and our operation has come to a stop for the time being. We are hoping to pick up where we left off next week and will include an extra gift with the trees that ship after Christmas.
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and wish everyone a happy holiday.
